To nail it even further to the "Muscle Car" era... Mike also posted he had a friend In high school that had one and it was pretty fast (paraphrased). I think I've read Mikes 51, so he was probably born in 1961 and would have graduated in around 1979. That eliminated one of my guesses a 1985 Buick Grand National.
