WIN a Rupes Big Foot Polisher Kit! - 2012 Year In Review Contest!

First of all, thank you AG! Always awesome contests and giveaways! I usually take pictures and do some tests of products I buy and use, but never organized to share a review. That was a huge incentive and i actually enjoyed doing it! :xyxthumbs:

1. My favorite 2012 addition was GTechniq. I'm currently undergoing a 50/50 test on my windshield with GTechniq G1 Clear Vision on one side and Menzerna Powerlock on the other (see my review, work in progress). Looking forward to try GTechniq EXO.

2. Autogeek has a awesome selection already. But I'd like to see Zymol waxes (love Glasur), Scholl Concepts polishes (want to try, heard nothing but good things about them), Wolfs chemicals (Decon gel is a good and cost-effective product) and Raceglaze brushes and waxes (55!!).

3. Here are my GTechniq G1 and CarPRO TRIX reviews i just posted.

Best regards and wish me luck!! :buffing:

1. Tell us about which product or product line added to the Autogeek store in 2012 pleased you the most.

The Gtechniq line, Who doesnt like UK stuff now?
Their C1 topped w/EXO is a KILLER COMBO!!

2. Name which product line(S) you would like to see added to our roster in 2013. Be specific and tell us why! Our ears are always open. ;)

In the near future, I'd like to see Auto Finesse being added.
This line comes with VERY nice packaging, aside from nice packaging their products work as advertised which is also another UK brand, with all the new and AWESOME goodies from Europe!!

3. Post a review (with pictures) on the forum for a product you purchased from Autogeek and link to it in this thread. An existing review does not count.

This review was created ESPECIALLY for this!!
http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/60680-review-how-wash-your-car.html

I have BOUGHT TONS FROM AG, and FOREVER WILL!!!

1. I love the Dodo Juice Basics of Bling Line! Haven't used a thing I am not happy with yet!

2. I really would love to see the Victoria Wax Line. Victoria Wax is a small company in Victoria BC, founded by a man who for years worked at Zymol. He started this line with the concept of "high quality product and a cost anyone can afford". Their shampoos, QD, paint cleansers are easily on par with Swissvax and Zymol products but at the cost of most PBMG brands and CG! Really hope to see them in, love them!

3. Dodo Crudzilla Review!

1. Wolfgang Deep gloss Liquid Seal most definitley pleased me. See my new review below. Absolutely a great product!

2. This one is really hard... Im still fairly new to detailing so what you have is alot. And I mean alot I have seen some other sites that offer as many manufactures as Autogeek But do not carry as many of their products.

If I had to choose.
Swissvax Waxes.
Some of Auto Finesse's products.

3. Here you go. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/60687-wolfgang-deep-gloss-liquid-seal.html

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal is currently my goto lsp. No fuss and great results in no time at all.

1. My favorite product/product line added for 2012 is Gtechniq, i only have C1/silo seal C1.5 which i used only on the carbon parts of my car but i love the water beading and sheeting that this product provides. I look forward to later trying EXO and some of there other products in the future.

2. Like many people have suggested so far i also want to see the Autofinese product line in the AG inventory. Seems to be getting great reviews by alot of people. I want to try out there waxes and see how Iron out compares to Iron X

3. Here is my first ever review on any forum (polisher is a great motivational tool lol) definatly wont be the last either

(it is a another UNIQUE review) :props:

Thanks a lot AG for putting those promotions together. Those new reviews are a wealth of knowledge/experience you can't find anywhere and can't buy. Lots of good stuff coming to light for me. Now I must step away from the computer and not press the checkout button on all the new products I want to try

 1. I was very pleased when Autogeek released Chemical Guys line of products last year. I like some of their products and I'm sure a lot of people are also dying to get their products. They have so much products available and I'm sure there's a product fore very customer.
 2. I really wanted Autogeek to carry the Rupes line of polishers since the beginning of this year. I actually e-mailed Nick about it (remember Nick? Email sent on 1/7/13). But this is not really a valid answer because AG is already carrying it LOL! I would really like Autogeek to carry 2 lines of products namely Buff and Shine and Scholl Concepts Polishes. I have heard very good things about these 2 product lines. If Autogeek carries the Buff and Shine pads, this will give all their customer more variety of pads to choose from. In addition, I heard they work very well. I also heard that the Scholl Concepts polishes work extremely well! So that's another line of polishes to try. Those are my 2 wishes for 2013.

Thank you so much to Autogeek for bringing in the Rupes line of polishers and for putting together this contest for everyone!!! Good luck to all! :dblthumb2:

1. Tell us about which product or product line added to the Autogeek store in 2012 pleased you the most.

I had used Chemical Guys prior to it coming to Autogeek but honestly I like to order most of my chemicals/products from you guys. The customer service is top notch and the price match is awesome. Chemical Guys is one of those lines that offers an array of products, some of which I have never used, but the ones I have get used heavily. Their MF cleaner, soaps, and towels are my favorite thing from them.

2. Name which product line(S) you would like to see added to our roster in 2013. Be specific and tell us why! Our ears are always open. ;)

I'm going to say swissvax or more of the Chemical Guys products. There area few items that didn't carry over from their actual site to here but it's understandable. I have tried a few of the swissvax products but I would like for you guys to carry maybe some sample sizes to try more of them out. Most of us don't want to pay the high prices for a wax we are unsure of.

Nanoskin & the Speedy Prep Towel. This has cut my time and cost of claying down substantially. No more throwing away clay after a particularly beat up car or dropping it on the ground. The speedy prep towel seems to last forever.

I would like to see Swissvax. I've yet to see anything but glowing reviews.

I LOVE the smell and feel and easy of use of CG Pete 53 wax

I really like the "forum favorite". This is basically what got me started. So my suggestion would be to have a FORUM FAVORITE section in the store of the tried and true!

The product that pleased me most that was added to the Autogeek store in 2012 was the Griot’s garage 3rd gen polisher. I previously purchased the 2nd generation of this polisher and have used it for about 2 years. It continues to deliver the performance and handle the workload I need it to. I knew I could rely on this machine for years to come and wanted another machine for backup. I decided to make the purchase when Autogeek introduced the unit with the preorder. The 3rd gen polisher was ergonomically enhanced with better button positions to make it easier for the user. I can turn the polisher on or off with the button right at the top of the housing as well as switching the speed settings on the fly. The finger indentations gives me great grip compared to the 2nd gen I have, all of this with a lifetime warranty. I know I will be using this unit for many years to come. Griot’s made something great even greater.

I honestly would like to see the 3D professional detailing product line. Their products are advertised as ecofriendly both for the environment and pockets. I’ve been hearing great things about the HD UNO they offer. It can cut down defects while leaving an LSP finish all from one product. AG already covers a wide range of products. Adding this line would not hurt but could only help business and the consumers to get the products easier! g

My thoughts are:

Marc08EX (Marc) is, by far, the current:
"Leader of the Pack"...VROOOM, VROOOM!!

As such:
My Vote...Has been cast.

1. I cant say that i can pick a product that was specifically added in 2012 because that is when I got into detailing more heavily and dont know what was added in 2012 as opposed to 2011 or 2010, but i will say that some of my favorite products are Optimum spray wax and Optimum car wash, and Ultima waterless wash+. I use these all the time and absolutely love them!

2. I dont know about many specific product lines that werent already mentioned, but i know there is one thing on the website that im surprised isnt sold, and that is garage lighting. Be it a fixed light that is installed in the ceiling, or the halogen stand lights, or even finding somebody who produces a portable powerful high lumen LED light that doesnt produce much heat. It would be easier knowing that what is sold on Autogeek.net would be more specific to car detailing as far as the color spectrum goes and narrows down some of the choices as opposed to the plethura of stuff that home depot or lowes would sell.

3. Here is my review: metro master blaster. Videos were added on the second page of the thread.

Pinnacle Crystal Clear Glass Kit. I was very picky about cleaning windows but did not know how to clean windows. This kit comes with every product I needed. Very easy to use. Thank you Autogeek~

Autoglym product line.
I tried couple of paint cleaner products and one day my friend gave me some Autoglym Super Resin Polish(SRP).
I was very impressed. Very easy to use and it always gives me good result. I think it is better than Meguair's paint cleaner and P21s. I wish to use other Autoglym products.
(I found that only Amazon sells Autoglym products in US.)

I joined a Korean Auto Detailing Forum before I know Autogeek. Lots of Members also wish to buy SRP @ Autogeek cause they do shop here very often. ;)
