Window Cleaner- What's the best?

The key in my experience is to use a good quality MF cloth. Factors like high humidity and whether or not the glass is warm will affect the outcome regardless of cleaner used. I tend to clean my glass either early in the morning or late evening. I also stay away from Glass cleaning wipes. I have yet to find one that did not streak.

i like both dp and griots.the griots is about 3 times cheaper than the dp
 
I got a bottle of Rain-X glass cleaner on sale. Had to use way to much to get windows clean. Back to Stoners.
 
Best window cleaner after trying many is Swissvax crystal, just hands down IMO the best. Of what ag sells the dp cleaner is great also.

I use to use Stoner's, but I have switched to Meguiar's and never looked back. The only thing that I like using the Stoner's aerosol for is the inside of a car with tinted windows, because I feel that the foam is safer on the tint (less chance of a scratch).

Ok guys so we seem to all be agreeing on Stoners. I have used Stoners on various occasions to achieve a streak free finish on windshields and side windows.

What i HATE though, is as soon as one of the windows gets rolled down then back up, its wet again, and it ALWAYS spots. How do you prevent this.

I can see not rolling the window down until youre sure that the moisture inside the door has evaporated (a day and a half later), but what about when you just finished a detail for a customer and got the windows crystal clear, do you just tell them not to roll the windows down?

I wouldn't say we're all agreeing on Stoner's. Quite the opposite, actually. More that have tried Stoner's after coming from something else do like it, as have I, but Meg's detailer line is better and WAY more cost effective.

Unless there's a magical cure for moisture on the wipers (metro blower, perhaps?), no rolly down winders.

An air compressor is your friend. I just blow out the moisture.
 
This is not an actual window cleaner but I use Klasse AIO. Never any leaves any streaks, the glass is nice and slick, and it beads water great. I was wondering if there are any drawbacks about using this product on glass? Not concerning cost.
 
I agree with the folks who are saying stoners! Some really good stuff! I use a waffle weave glass towel.
 
Stoners is great, but made the switch to Meguiars for the savings and don't regret it.
