Window Hard Stains

These are products made for this purpose. That's key when working on glass, use products made for glass.

I called Nuvite and they don't recommend Nuvite C Grade for glass, so might want to be careful about using it yourself or recommending it. I have a call into one of their Techs to get the skinning on C-49

:)

Yeah.... definitely right on keeping specific products for their specific purposes. I tried quite a bit of products on this gentlemans hard water spots (couple of years old) ..... and it was my last hail marry attempt. Worked without scratching, but may have been a lucky occasion. Thanks for taking the time to call Nuvite - good stuff:dblthumb2:

My husband and I had really bad water spots on our cars, and after trying everything recommended to us and taking it to a pro detailer, nothing was working. Some spots got lighter but the outlines were still there, and that was only after a lot of elbow grease and products used.

I then tried Bar Keepers Friend LIQUID and a magic eraser. No elbow grease needed. They all disappeared very easily. Acid rain spots and hard water spots on our cars and house windows vanish.

Just thought I would pass it on and maybe it may be helpful for someone else. =)

Whatever you decide to use... I would follow the "test spot" idea. If you do get a bit too aggressive, @ least it will only be in one spot.
