window tint diy question

By definition I don't think you can get a certification sticker if you're not certified. But idk.
 
Sounds like you'll have to spend the money and have a shop do it so they can stamp the tint.
 
Yeah, I think you're missing the whole point of the cert. It's like you're asking how to smog your own car and get the state to recognize it.
 
Is this something that's really an issue. I live in a state where it's not legal to tint your front windows with anything and every other person has tint. Nobody cares.
