Windsheild products?

Let me try to explain they way it was coming down, the rain was coming almost straight at us due to the wind. When I hit the high beams all I could see is a wall of on coming rain it was that bad. It could be the wipers were slow due to the strong wind that was out causing some resistance. I just want something that will help out just incase we ever get caught in a similar situiation(sp?).

That's kinda scary, the wiper motors on my truck are fast as hell. I've gone through torrential downpours where other cars and trucks were pulling over the side of the road.

Yeah I will not be caught in the rain like that again.

In the past I have used AIO and PB PP and like them both. However, I prefer AIO x2, and reapply about every other washing. I wash, then use Invisable Glass (spray, not foam), then apply the AIO

Coat 1 cleans, while coat 2 lays the acrylic layer. Windsheild seems slick enough that water just beads off and most bug splatters don't stick.

Wouldn't the second coat of AIO remove what ever the first coat layed down?

Speaking of glaco, when i bought my car, it came with it in the glove box. Looks like a freaking buttplug.

I always get odd looks when they pull it out. I tell them to smell the tip. har harrrr

lets pull this one back in quickly ... were treading on some dangerous grounds.

Shucks; it was just getting interesting. You sure it was in the glovebox and not the nightstand? Anyhow, didn't someone recommend in a recent thread that AIO applied with 0000 steel wool as the best glass treatment? Wouldn't that sufficiently clean and smooth the surface for an LSP, be it another layer of AIO, PPG AP or something else?
