Hello All,

I have discovered 2 scratches at the top of my windshield maybe an inch or 2 in length side by side. My finger nail just catches them.

I'm wondering if I can polish these out with glass polishing pad & maybe HD Speed or I have the CarPro polishing product that comes with Flyby?

Thanks

You will need Car Pro's Ceriglass and a rayon pad. A rotary buffer is a must to remove heavy scratches. Takes a lot of time and patience.
Oh, I forgot to mention how messy it will get with the splatter.

Just a thought here, if the scratch doesn't come out you can think about a windshield banner of some type, I assume you have a Viper judging by your screen name, just a thought if it doesn't work out.

Scratch Repairs can be done within reason- but there's always the chance of micro-marring the glass and taking two steps back. As mentioned, Ceri-glass and the rayon pads is the right approach. But you're in for a long haul and potential disappointment. Some good threads here if you can find them. I'd recommend studying up ;)

If I have some time later- I'll see what threads I can find.

That's for the info.

I may first try something simple, like cleaning and polishing the glass. It may get rid of some of it just enough to not really bother me. Right now it's right at the top of the glass and I only notice it when parked facing a brick building, does not effect me driving but I know it's there and it's
Annoying :D
