Windshield wiper trails

Hello all!

First off thanks for all those who have contributed to the forum - I am enjoying all the learning.

My question is regarding wiper trails. I have a slight (which of course means major) case of the wiper trails. I tried washing and claying but they were still there. I will be getting a GG DA for Christmas so I can try that. In my searches I gather that glass - being very hard - might require a heavier polish/pad for it. Has anyone else had luck with removing them by hand?

Yes,
do a search on the forum for Carpro Ceriglass & carpro Rayon Glass pads. That combo + GG6 will handle it for you.
Mike Philips & Swanicyouth had excellent threads on this.

Oh as for doing it by hand, only if there are very light scratches and then after a very long time of hand polishing.

Just go with the above combo on a powerful DA like the GG6, or a rotary.
