Winter car care!!! What are you going to be doing?

I'm betting on EXOv2, C1/EXOv2 and Cquartz on the ones I take care of over the winter to make RWs easier. Will try some with ONR and some with D114. I have some C2v3 as a drying aid, think that'll help?

I may stock up on Eagles today and change my RW MO. I use a standard 2BM using IncrediPads and don't see a need to change it, but now that I think about it, one Eagle per panel or section is a small investment in safety.

I think sometimes you just got to live with your car being a little dirty. If there's salt on the ground it's almost pointless to do a rinseless cause as soon as you take your car out around the block its gonna be covered again.

I tried that a few winters ago. I was doing like three to four washes a week. My car was clean for a few minutes at best lol. I think I did more harm than good that winter I know I inflicted a lot of swirls.

:iagree:

This is the first winter I've gone thru since I got the detailing bug and my plan was to do rinseless washes in the shop at work, but after 3 weeks and washes I don't think that will work. The car is really to dirty for rinseless even with pre soaking the car. I know if I do this all winter I'll be adding swirls, plus I'm not getting the salt off under the car. New plan will be touchless car washes once a week and a rinseless here and there if it's not to dirty.
