Does winter drive anyone else crazy?! Several days in a row of below freezing temps or least in the mid 30s. When it does warm up some there is rain and then ice. Then the temps are cold again. Here I am trying to resist washing the car because I know the water freezing on it would do the finish no good. I hate running it through the touch less machine. Every time I walk up to the car I can’t stand how dirty it is. That can’t be my ride so dirty…..

OH....you guys are just MEAN!!

Sure...rub it in....

I'm dreaming of the day when I can :autowash:

High of -4 here on Thursday with a low of -17....lets not even talk about the wind chill!

Yeah I hear you. Everybody on the forum hates me for this, but this is why I love the automatic car washes. Perfect in the winter when I need a quick wash and I don't even have to step out of my vehicle in this freezing cold weather.

But yes, as mentioned above, ONR is a truly amazing way to thoroughly clean up your vehicle without having to step outside of your garage. Whether I am doing a rinseless wash or spraying it on and wiping off with a bunch of MF towels, ONR has fantastic cleaning power with a completely streak-free shine.

Yes us south florida guys have to deal with a cold front coming this week.....highs will be in the low 70's. I detail everyday in my shorts and short sleeve shirt....year round.

iowa is in a blizzard warning right now and i too am itching to do a 2 bucket wash.

Where in parkland are you......i have some customers there also. Just did this Z for one of your neighbors.

My drive to work early this morning bordered on brutal with 35 miles of whiteout conditions, high winds, no such thing as lane markers (down to first and second gear on the Interstate where it is normally 75 mph), then 40 miles of ice and finished with 15 more miles of drifting snow. Only two spinouts and one roll over (SUV on its top - looked bad).

Regards,
GEWB

And i have all my windows in the house wide open to let the breeze in, ready to walk my dog with flip flops on....it's 10:15 pm.

Pitch Black - screen name from your car, or the movie? I love that movie :righton:

You people in the warm Florida weather make me sick.Flip flops, dog walking. I can't let my dog outside for more than 5 min. or her paws will freeze to the ground. I do check the Florida weather everyday and dream of how nice it would be to wash my salt lick of a truck. She's kinda a two tone. Red on top and white on the bottom with various barnacles of slushy crap hanging from the wheel wells. You warm weather mammals have it too easy.Lol.

You shouldn't make Florida sound to appealing or you may wake up some day and find fifty or seventy five million northerners approaching your borders.Im the MAN

Yes, but in the summer when i walk out of the house before 7 and i'm already sweating before i reach my car....trust me, you don't want to work in that humidity. But until then, when i go to work on the beach and watch all the hotties in their bikinis or their short skirts at the clubs......i'll think of all you guys suffering up north, lol.
