Winter prep - DD kept outside Northeast

Well, what would we do then? :)

On a serious note, I don't have a garage, and plenty of dew/pollen daily/nightly. I don't think Opti-Coat would cure properly. Duragloss products intrigue me because people claim they worked well applied in direct sunlight. That helps, so I picked up the 601/501 and 105 bottles to try. Also got an EZ Up, won't block 100% but it will help.

Duragloss does do one hell of a job for the price. I got some pretty pricey LSP but some days I really have to think hard and wonder, were they worth it?

Great thread OP, I was thinking of the same thing today. Since I already have alot of BF products. What would you guys recommend. I got a newer Acura and it will be its first winter in WV.

On snow days I am NOT going to be driving the new Acura but it will be sitting outside 24/7. Would 2 coats of BFTPnS with BFCS be the best bet? Or would I get better durability from DG 105?

On my 2001 Acura I usually just put 2 coats of Megs Ultimate wax and called it a day.

There's a reason my winter preps receive Duragloss products. I will be starting them around September running through November. Since you have a lot of the Blackfire line, in October clean the paint with TPnS, then apply 2 coats of BFWD and maintain with Crystal Seal once a month. Most likely you won't see snow until November, some in December, then most of it drops January-February. The biggest issue is when the roads freeze after rain and they start spraying salt. That's when touchless car washes become your friend.

I recommend Opti Coat but your choice will work. My son's Yaris survived a NY winter and the OC was unaffected.
