What do you use to wipe down a panel to check your work? I saw some abbreviations, but I don't know what they stand for. Sorry.

Most use an IPA dilution (isopropyl alcohol can be found in the medicine aisle, in varying potencies from 30%-100%).

I've heard of using anywhere from a 1:10 of IPA:Water dilution to 1:2.

You can also pick up an item like CarPro Eraser which will remove waxes, oils, etc...

You gotta be more specific.. Is this after a compound, polish, wax, seal?

Speaking generally.. Microfiber towel, fold 4 ways, and buff off, use some type of light to look at the paint

During the compound stages. I have a car that was finished with 3M Ultrafina and it has a definate oily feel and look to it. Trying to figure out how to remove it.
