Wolfgang: Absolute must haves?

I used WG - the sealer is OK but DG 105 is cheaper and last longer. And that's not a fair comparison with WG sealer and OPS - OPS is an all-in-one product whereas WG is a pure sealer. For the money, DG, Optimum and even some OTC stuff is better.

So do I...So did you ever tried Wolfgang shampoo?;)
As far as I recall in my life time...no bad experiences yet...so don't plan on it:D

Another for Wolfgang Sealant, one of the best looking sealants on the market.

I don't know if you were refering to my comparison of WGDGPS and poli-seal. I know the two are not in the same catagory, but someone asked how they compared. I havn't tried the DG sealant, but WG blows DG sealant and Zaino out of the water on looks and durability.

I really like the Wolf Gang sealent, I only use it on special vehicles. I don't like using this to much because I hold the good stuff to people that are willing to pay for it and/or I feel there vehicles deserve it. I also have the leather cleaner and conditioner, that's all I use on my Lexus leather and it works great.

Well that's just my feed back, hope it helps.

the wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant is awesome....probably the only sealant i have run into that best mimics the deep look of carnauba....i reserve it for special occasions only :)...mostly car show cars...
I do agree!

Quote-I havn't tried the DG sealant, but WG blows DG sealant and Zaino out of the water on looks and durability" Am I missing something here? Well pal - I have tried WG and DG - on my car and on several others, and I'm telling you - WG is just average on looks and durability DG costs less and performs better. But it's your money.

ehhh WG has about the lowest durability out of all the sealants....DG, DP etc all last much longer....and WG sure as hell is not outlasting Zanio. Not saying WG is a bad product by any means, looks great, but durability is its weakness.

Just gotta Luv these product discussions. But I will tell you this, I have learned so much by just this kind of discussion.

I have the WG paint sealant and love it. But yeah mainly for it's looks and good durabilibty as compared to a wax. It's lasts about half as long as Zaino Z5 pro or DG 105 though.

Wow, I didn't know someone could get so upset that I didn't agree with you....calm down...it's the internet for Christ's sake. If you want to use the DG sealant, that is great, but don't get upset when I don't.

In all honesty, Durability isn't a big factor for me (or a lot of the people on this board) since I am redoing my car every two to three months anyway. Besides, I top my sealant with a new coat of carnuba every two weeks, so the sealant isn't exactly exposed to the elements.

In my personal experience (again, I am not testing anyone elses car) the WG DGPS looks better than the other two sealants I have used.

I bet most would agree with you on that. And even if it *only* lasts 2-3 months, who cares? Like you said, we all love to reapply more often than that anyways. hehe Question though, why do you top the WG DGS? It looks so good on its own. I'm not a fan of the mix n match of carnaubas and sealants though unless already mixed from the get go (i.e. optimum spray wax).

I top the DGPS with MaxWax because the max wax seems to enhance the DGPS, especially on a my black metallic flake paint. I wouldn't do it if they canceled each other or I was losing anything with the carnuba, but they compliment each other very well.

WG is more warmer looking, DG #105 is more of a wet relfective look.

Who cares...Black Magic > all

:D:p

Sounds like a nice combo, good to know.

The only time I let my LSP set for months before wanting to do it again is winter (#16). Summer I'll just wake up real early and do it.

The bad thing about typing, forum or E-mail, is that it's hard to express emotion in it. I didn't mean to come across so strong! One thing, my detailing is on the semi-pro level - meaning I do it for extra cash, not just to see how great I can make my own paint look. Been there-done that! Therefore, price of products is important with me, I'm looking for the best value in everything I use. Typically I wash, clay, polish and use a sealer on my customer's cars. Currently I'm searching for a good value in tire dressing, believe it or not, but I tried Stoners More Shine cause it was on sale at Advance and wow - if it has decent durability it has my vote - waiting to see how long it lasts.
