Alright,

I bought my wife a 2010 Chevy Traverse 3 weeks ago. With all the rain we have had in the Mid-Atlantic, I finally got a chance to wash it tonight. I purchased the Wolfgang Deep Gloss kit memorial day weekend.

I noticed after adding 2-3oz. of Wolfgang Auto Bathe in a five gallon, the smell (awesome) and the suds were pretty nice.
Once I started washing the first panel the suds started to disipate.

I was also using for the first time ever, a clean filter with water softener filter. I was amazed as I was expecting the pressure to be worse than it was.

Is it normal for the Wolfgang Auto Bathe to loose suds after 1st or 2nd panel?

Thanks, Mike

That would explain why it wasn't as sudsy as you would like. Try using warm water, not to hot though.

Similar to washing dishes. Have you ever tried washing the dishes with cold water? The soap simply doesn't work nearly as well.

Pinnacle Bodywork works fine in cold water...never used wolfgang, but pinnacle definitely doesn't dissipate even after the whole car.

Its funny, cause I dont even LIKE suds. And to avoid them, add the soap to my wash AFTER filling the bucket. I like great lubricity in a soap, so suds just arent that important to me.

That's the BEST way to do it, IMO. Some people get WAY too caught up in suds, when it's the lubricity that's most important.

To me, Wolfgang and Pinnacle are very similar. They both create light airy suds. They do seem to dissipate a little but there was always some in the bucket and agitation would create more if you wanted them. They both smell nice, clean fine, nice lubricity, and rinse well.

That's actually why I was asking about the suds. The soap had great lubricity, but not much on suds. I dont care about suds. I just wanted to make sure I wasnt doing something wrong. I will try warm water just to see.

Overall, I am very pleased with the auto bathe.:xyxthumbs:

Did you add anything else to the wash like ONR ?? Was the mitt clean or could it have had some residue from past washing ?? Lots of things can effect foamy. Ever dropped a bar of soap into a bubble bath ???
