Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 smell

I recently received m Wolfgang DGPS 3.0. When I opened the bottle, it smells like a mixture of butter and petroleum. The color is a pale yellow, and slightly thick consistency. Does this sound about right? Thank you!
 
Can I apply Wolfgang Sealant 3.0 over Pinnacle Black Label Surface Cleansing Polish? Then follow with Pinnacle wax? (overkill?)

I just purchased two new 2017 VW GTIs and want to get them ready for the Big ole' Texas sun that is already starting to cook us.

ya thats right, You should shake it up real good, thats what i always do. not specifically with deepgloss but in general.
 
It definitely has a petroleum aspect of the scent.

No problems I would see in doing that.

Just allow 12 hours of cure time (minimum) before topping 3.0 with your Pinnacle wax (Souveran?)...
 
I really like the smell.... maybe because I like butter?
