Wolfgang uber rim cleaner

I just received a gallon of the WG uber rim cleaner and my question is I believe this might have something like iron x in it due to the description saying it turns purple as it breaks down the brake dust. Do you think it could be used as a paint decon. Treatment? I haven't used it yet but just wondering outside the box.

That's a great question, I have been using wg uber wheel cleaner for a year now but never thought robust it on paintwork.

There has been talk of other wheel cleaners such as Full Effect being used to decon paint. I would imagine a wheel cleaner being to harsh for paint work. Granted most wheels are clear coated.

I would you a product specifically for decon'ing paint such as Iron-X or equivalent.

I've wondered the same thing. I've used IronX for paint decon many times.
