For the last two 2BM washes on my super sporty, 2006 Sienna, I added 1/2 ounce of Uber rinseless to the wash bucket. I used 1.25 ounces of Meguiar's Hyperwash as my shampoo. I didn't use any drying aid. The last wash was done at dusk yesterday.

Today I went out and noticed the van looked like it was a tad glossier. I felt the paint this morning (gasp), don't worry it is pearl white. The paint had a slicker feel to it. Did the 1/2 oz of Uber rinseless leave some gloss/slickness behind?

My current LSP is a "coat" of an Asian sealant supposedly not sold in the US. Hint: it's not hard and it is one less than 100.
I also rinsed using free flowing stream of water.

it leaves some gloss and slickness behind indeed. I wouldn't say full on protection, its just more of a gloss enhancer. But yes, it is really slick!

Thanks Corolla,

Thought so, seemed logical. Had only really used Uber as a rinseless and detail spray. The 2BW Uber addition was a first. May just put 1/4 oz in the water from now on. That Uber isn't cheap!

I did buy the gallon at 20-25% off. I bought the 16oz cool dispense bottle first and loved it. I kept the measuring bottle and just keep refilling it.

So Uber at $60 (sale) a gallon. One ounce is 47 cents. With HW at $20 (sale) per gallon ($.15 per oz) and 1-1.5 oz per wash. I'm looking at around $.35-.50 per wash. Guess I can swing it.

Beats the automatic touchless that couldn't even get the traffic film off my windshield:)

Don't forget that WGU makes 3 gallons of cleaning solution for just one ounce, very economical!
