Wolf's Chemicals

How is the DP coating holding up? Also, what was your prep for Hard Body? Two months seems very short for any product in this class.

My prep for hard body was clay then Wolf's Shine and Seal. DP coating is still very new, it's only been on for about a week.

Wolf’s Chemicals The Mask Spray On Protection
Just missed a good chance to use this...

-----------------------------------------------------

Every time I struggle with bugs on my wifes front clip I mutter ............"We really need to try "The Mask"! I just can't bring myself to do it. Probably because there is nothing else like it on the market that I know of. I'm also skeptical about how easy it is to remove, a "strong stream of water" it says...........hmmmmm

Sounds like the description for Griot's Garage Bug Barricade. Interesting because Wolf's was out first.

I've tried this product twice now. Once on a 600 mile road trip and once for a car cruise. I was afraid after spraying it on that it would not level correctly, but after leaving in the garage overnight you couldn't tell it was on. As far as coming off...it came right off in the Coin Op when I got to my destination as did all the bugs. Did it protect the paint...hard to tell. The second time I used it, applied the night before but got caught in a light sprinke first part of the drive, had to be carefull when QD'ing the mist off. You could tell where the product was. There were smears where I got to close where the mask spray was on the hood. It rained later that same day, so I assumed it came of in the rain on the way home. Certainly didn't feel it the next day when I washed the car.

Ok, here is my take on this. I spotted this line on DW and got it from DD when he first started carrying it. "Supersealant" is what I'd call these products. Body wrap lasted me for 1 year, having me washing my car every 10 days on average. Beading is very tight, I also like how easily it releases dirt, defenetely a step up from Collinite waxes. Application is fairly easy. Hard body - still testing, holding up very well for last 6 months though. How trim sealant - application is easy, but I did expect more durability from it. So far seen 10-12 average on a daily driver that sits outside 24/7. Rim shield - 3-4 months is what I average from it. Glass sealant - a good 6 months, after that beading is not so tight, so I reapply... Honestly, this is a great bridge between true ceramic nano coatings, but not as great as Gtechniq or Cquartz. Cquartz dirt releasing abilities on paint, as well as its sheeting abilities simply blow my mind. Cannot wait to try Gtechniq EXO on my daily driver. Let it rain!

Hard Body lasts around 2 months for me. I've moved on to the DP paint coating and want to try CQuartz next.

Hi Conan, I assume this is in Mnl? When I was there Body Wrap lasted me 8 months no kidding- until I topped it with a wax. No nano qd, just a wash once a week, which is often stretched to two when I have no time.

Richard, I have the entire protection portion of the line on its way to me. I am planning on putting everything to the test and possibly even doing the reviews to document. My only problem is my truck has OC Pro and the wife's car has a brand new application of CQUK.

It's the only polish I've ever used that they provide.
I can say you could almost use it as you LSP providing you used the right pad.
After I used it I went straight to my 205, the results were outstanding, the car had swirls and I mean a lot of them.
I just love the way it wipes off.

I'll have to dig more into the 3 spray products. At a quick glance it looks like Nano QD is for boosting body wrap and hard body, quickie qd is for boosting blue moon wax, and the mask appears to be a stand alone sealant.

HateSwirls, did you use Equalizer as a 1-step or did you follow up with another polish? Is that the only Wolf's polish you have used? I honestly haven't looked for reviews of the others yet, I will this weekend though since I will have the weekend off. Thanks for the feedback.

The general conclusion on the net is that Wolf's products need to be maintained very specifically. Ignoring nanobridges, nanomonkeys and other similarly meaningless terms, there are any number of reports indicating that, to maintain the performance of the protection products, you have to use the Wolf's maintenance products. This is simply not the case with products like cquartz which will keep repelling water with almost anything you throw at them and never require unprovable claims about the product still being there, just that it doesn't repel water any more.

Don't get me wrong, Wolf's products have a place but I feel that they have pitched them above their weight and there is just too much marketing and invented terminology involved.

Great. Now I'm going to have a dream about nano monkeys building nano bridges trying to escape out of my wax bottle.

Yes I'm in Manila. Well from the Wolf's forum they "claim" that on really soft paint Hard Body won't last as long. I even bought their "nano shampoo" for maintenance but it didn't seem to make a difference.

I've used the Decon Gel and it worked great! My wife bought a brand new BMW in white and I used it after claying the car. Of course with the car being white you could really see the product working. It definitely helped in prepping the surface for the LSP which was Swissvax Concorso. I'll never prepare a car without a decontaminant again. I put the decon gel in a spray bottle and went over the entire surface. I let it dwell for about 20 minutes or so and then took a microfiber wash mitt and some shampoo and went over the entire car.

sorry to bump this thread again. but does anyone know the durability of the Nano quick detailer and of the quickie?
and can you really use the Nano quick detailer as a stand alone LSP?
and do both contain caranuba or is the Nano quick detailer more of a sealant then wax?

I used that GG stuff down here in Florida for Love Bug season...FAILURE BIG TIME!!!

I've used all the Wolf's Polishes and :dblthumb2:

I use Wolfs products and like them a lot. I first tried Body Wrap then went to HardBody. Both work real well for me. I like the way Hard Body looks over Shine and seal. I also have the wash and rinseless wash mean green which is also excellent. I recently bought the carnuba glaze and Blue moon wax. The Carnuba Glaze is awesome ,its like Prima Amigo with more protection. Some of my favorite combos are.
Shine&Seal then Hard Body then Prima Hydro/Hydro seal combo.
Now I have Carnuba Glaze then Prima Hydro it has an awesome look.
