Good Guess! My son and I spent 6 days with him in March of this year. We spent the next 4 days catering to our sore muscles trying to recover from all the hard work....hehehehe

There are "detailers" around here that say they will detail any car for $39.00. This really creates confusion in peoples minds when a "Professional Detailer" comes along as quotes $300.00 or so. One of the first things I try to do is educate people about what a true detail really consists of. Some seem to understand, while others just want their car cleaned.

I think you've hit on one of the toughest issues facing professional detailers.

I know hard working, honest people who are supporting their families doing $50 car wash/ArmorAll "details." Even this is a stretch for a car owner who thinks that springing for the $10 special at the tunnel wash is splurging.

It's tough to explain to someone other than a show car guy or a luxury car owner why my minimum detail starts at $125. (And, as you know, that's really the low end of the range for most detailers.)

Back on topic, 4 hours is about right for my wash/wax/interior/glass/wheels jobs.
