What's your pre-wash and 2BM regimeSo I just thought I'd give a little update. It's been nearly a year since the Pure Evo was applied. Here are some beading shots. Keep in mind the car is dirty from being driven in the rain for almost two weeks.
Love the beading/ sheeting. Water just flies off the car at speeds as low as 35mph.![]()

I'm not familiar with Meg's Hyperwash, I know it's a forum favorite but that's about it. I see your beading is really good but ever you see it not doing its thing like before, a good pre-wash from Bilt-Hamber Touchless or Auto-foam or even DIY Detail Incredible Suds should unclog the coatingNothing special.
I don't do pre-wash other than to hose it down to knock off surface grime.
As for a wash, I just use Megiuar's Hyperwash and a Rag Company mitt. Again nothing special.
If the mood strikes me and I have time I'll wipe it down with Gyeon Ceramic Detailer when I'm done every 4-6 weeks, but I haven't done that since October.

Less pH than the industry standard for excellence (Bilt-Hamber Touchless and Auto-foam) but that pH level and your statement about unclogging a coated surface says something, plus it's local and about $25-30 cheaper a gallon, maybe Meg's has a useful product for me (sorry Ric)Don't sleep on hyper wash, I've personally witnessed it unclog a coating I thought was dead (M37 v2) and it began to bead quite nicely after that. Per sds ph level is 9-9.8, dilution ratio is 400:1, and it can be purchased at harbor freight for less than $30 a gallon. Performs well in a foam cannon or a bucket. Dollar per dollar it is really hard to beat.

Well I'm 53 so your asking me to go back sometime but when I didn't know better I used Dawn, I'm sure of itWhat car wash did you grow up on?
I know your a Meg's guy and I did use Gold Glass back in the day
It probably was Zip Wax, whatever my late Dad had I guess. I've never been impressed with Mother's at all...remember CMXThat’s the answer I was looking for.lol. I used to love some Gold Class.
And are you talking about Zip Wash? That stuff was wack huh? Lol. At least you weren’t a Mothers California Gold guy. Lol. My best friend who wound up liking cars as much as I did was a big Mothers guy. Huge fanboy at a time when he got a car before I did, so it’s all I would hear about. By the time I finally got my own car I hadn’t been impressed, so I went in another direction which lead me towards Meguiars.
