Would you polish if your paint looked like this?

Just washed and deconed but I'm thinking I'm probably not going to polish but let me know what you think.

If you did a Clay then it wouldnt hurt to do a fine finishing polish to clean up any possible marring that might have happened.

Looks good from those pictures. I can't see any swirls, so I would say just put a sealant or wax on it and skip the polishing step. Save the polishing for when it really needs it.

It looks pretty good, but I always clay and polish before I put a new coat of sealant/wax on my paint. I want my paint clean even if there are no scratches.

I did use the nanoskin mitt and ironX not much grab or purple. I think I'm going to let it fly I know these cars come with thin paint from the factory. Thanks for the quick responses guys. Onto some PBL glass coating and SON1C Protowax 93 .

JK..No i wouldn't polish.. why waste the clearcoat on something that already looks amazing.

I'd hit it with either a paint cleaner or a non-abrasive polish like Poorboys Pro Polish or Klasse AIO to ensure the old wax is gone and the surface is as clean as possible.

Old sealant was long gone months ago. And I used a good mix of citrus red and apc. I'll deal with it next time.

At a minimum, Prima Amigo before the wax.

Inspect the paint for defects, if you don't have any then you don't need to polish.

If you WANT to do something you could hit it with po86rd (idk what they call it now) but it will take out any minute defects and enhance the gloss tenfold! The paint looks good but it could look better
