Hey Guys

It's great to be on board this massive site with so many detailing nuts.
I don't think I have found any forum like it. It's almost like being on drugs
being amongst so many detailing loving nuts. I just thought I would acknowledge my welcoming by saying saying thank you to the moderators and members for accepting me as a member on this fantastic size forum.

Just to say a little about me, well what's there to say ? I'm married with 3 ( keep you on your toes kids ) and when I'm not detailing I just love to relax at home. I got into detailing many moons ago, and I love it that much that it actually kills my back. In fact, at times when I'm not detailing customer cars, I'm relaxing by detailing my own little toy. A turbo Datto

I've had this little sucker pretty much for about 15 years now and can't help keeping itlooking nice. Actually, this car has been repeatedly buffed to death that many times in the last 15 years I have near penetrated the paint..............I think I'd better stop !!!

Well, as for my last few words for now fellas, it's great to be here and thank you for having me on board, and I look forward to some interaction with some of you

I don't know why I never joined before.

I'll see you round Bones

Peter, Welcome to Autogeek!

Unless it was repainted, that Datsun would have a single stage paint on it? Correct?

I had a 1977 Datsun B210 and that looks kind of like it but it also looks like it has a Honey Bee sticker in the lower panel?

Had a good friend with a yellow Honey Bee that looks like yours but maybe a few years older...

Anyway, cool that it's Turbo, did you do that?

Hey Mike

I actually bought it as a get around for the wife in standard trim, but to cut a long story short, it ended up the way it is now. It was resprayed around the time I bought it. It's not the original paint job. That sticker in the lower panel is not a honey bee.

It's actually a british Bulldog doing a muscular arm pose. There is a purpose for everything that has been added to this car. There is nothing on this little datto that looks good but doesn't serve a purpose.

The meaning of the little buldog you ask ??? Simple !

All that sticker says is " I may be small, but I'm packed with a lot of muscle "

And rightfully so. Not meaning to brag or sound like a show off, but at 900 kilos and packing 340 horse power....... it does make a statement.

Cheers Mike

Hey Slick Ooze

I know that feeling. Everytime I get something new I can't wait to get stuck into my car just to try. Explains why i have near gone through my paint after 10 or so years of killing it with the buff. :props:

:welcome: to Autogeek Online, Peter!

Thanks shane

I'm actually looking forward to seeing some different makes of cars here.
It's going to be an interesting family mambership. What products do you guys mostly use in the states as far paint care is concerned, or is just anything and everything given the different climates in the states ?

Cheers Shane

Not sure I understand your question. Could you please explain what you mean?
