Wow really?!?!?!

ahhhhhhhahahhahahahahahahhaahhahaahah!!! Hilarious Bobby!!!

I don't think he did anything wrong with posting that information. IP addresses are public domain. Go to ipchicken.com and look to see what YOUR IP addres is.

I am not referring to the domain. It is insinuated that this IP address is the culprit. This may be true, or it may not be. The IP address could have been hijacked.

Thats really sad, when someone tries to hack into a forums account. They jelly and want your high post counts....

I would say that you should not be posting this information. This person could easily have had their IP address hijacked to get into the account. This person may not even be the culprit.

You really should be more responsible about posting this information. Please take down your post. Thanks and enjoy your afternoon.

It's not irresponsible - anybody with Google can get the same information I did. :props:

Alex,

Lol you don't think they were going to do something to alter the "happy Friday"

threads do you????

No Happy Friday is probably safe, I think they were after a lot more valuable information. Like his home address so they could sneak over and steal his foam cannon.

Wow...looks like they're back at it again!

Dear alko,

Someone has tried to log into your account on Auto Geek Online Auto Detailing Forum with an incorrect password at least 5 times. This person has been prevented from attempting to login to your account for the next 15 minutes.

The person trying to log into your account had the following IP address: 66.23.233.82

All the best,
Auto Geek Online Auto Detailing Forum

Alex you got a stalker....

I know right?! I have a good feeling I know who it is, especially since he is now banned.

On another note...I believe this type of computer crime is a federal offense. Maybe someone who works in law enforcement can chime in.

Scary!! Must be someone here...

See comment above...I think I know who it is.

The IP addresses are different. Must be trying from different computers. I would think AG would be trying to stop it not just blocking it for 15 minutes. They have a huge vested interest in keeping this site safe.

I couldn't pull up an internet service provider for this IP address and after doing some basic searching, I see it was once reported to someone who got put on a spam list. This could be a spoofed address. I'm going to do some research on unauthorized access and attempted unauthorized access and see what kind of charge it carries. From what I understand its a federal offense.

Also it's pretty simple to use proxy IPs as a tool when hacking.

Yeah I think thats what happened this last time. I came across some searches and from what it was looking like he used a proxy.
