Wow - this is pricey!

I could have sworn that was like 30 bucks the other day when someone posted it. Wow, what the heck was I smoking that day?... wonder if I have any more lying around?

the smaller size is $30.

I have been wanting to try this...but the price has me scared to without a review.

... here I thought Milk was the most expensive liquid with diesel and gasoline being a close 2nd and 3rd. Wow lol 30/oz, I hope that stuff instead of being a dye has a genie that pops out when you squeeze, goes to the dealership and scares the crap out of them (because who really expects to see a genie and knows how to react) gets a new trim piece, comes back and installs for you. I think that would be worth it then ehh?

I wonder what makes it so pricy?

All of my trim products I use to date perform admirably for a reasonable cost but $125.00 for 12 ounces vs. $40.00 for 12 ounces of Ultima Tire & Trim Guard...

GTechniq C-4 is $60.00 for less then an ounce, but said to last 2 years.

It's stated that: "This unique formula combines ancient ingredients with advanced polymer technology to provide a spectacular, long-lasting, black, protective finish".

Maybe the below description is one of the reasons for the steepness of this product's initial outlay {$$$$$$$$}, maybe not.

One of the ancients ingredients to make a black dye was the
fruit of the Juglans nigra...Latin for: The black walnut.
The black walnut's latin name came from the interpretation of...Jovis glans...the regal nut of Jupiter or nut of "the Gods." Ancients believed the gods dined on walnuts.

"It's difficult to trace the native home of the walnut tree, but ancient Romans believe it originated in Persia. Early cultivation spanned from southeastern Europe to Asia Minor to the Himalayas. Greek usage of walnut oil dates back to the fourth century B.C., nearly a century before the Romans. Franciscan priests brought the walnut to California, USA around 1770. The oil of the nut has been used for centuries".

If the above would be true.....Does it still seem to be "pricey"????

:D

I could see a customer of a detailer wanting wanting something to last 2 years but what detailer would want something to last that long. That's a long time between visits.

Us do-it-yourself types wouldn't want anything to last that long either....like I'd ever wait that long to rub something else on there to try it out.

I have only had PERL for a week and applied it to my tires 3 times already :buffing:

Guess you like applying tire dressing!

I like that just applied look :-) And I'm very OCD. Sitting across from me at the dinner table equals bruised knees for you.

As long as I don't start putting it on my bicycle tires I'm ok...(Crash!)

at month 6 it's still looking like new plastic on the wife's 04 subaru forester.

great product, but super expensive!

i think i will have enough for maybe 3 more cars if they require cowl and door handles

Ron,I have C4 on several vehicles that were applied OVER a year ago that look the same as day one when applied.

C4 FTW!
unless a customer won't pay for it,then UTTG FTW. :)

I posted about this the other day in the new product section. I forgot to order to test it out though.
