OK; then:
I’ll just ‘never mind’.

Not certain if you feel as though I’m attacking you, but it’s not the case.
I’m simply bringing further info to the discussion, particularly that somewhat unfounded claim which I’d hope the experts could chime in on and either confirm or debunk.
I myself haven’t been able to find a conclusive answer but see multiple discussions here on AG and elsewhere about flex and the way they rate their machines. The closest thing I’ve seen was a discussion about strokes per minute vs orbits per minute and what that really meant in terms of rating the tool.
You seem to be a very loyal flex user and that’s cool. I went with a g15 because I’m not sold on forced rotation yet (lack of time behind a flex, none to borrow around here really) and because I was able to get it for significantly less than a 15mk2. I was also told the g15 is more capable than the 15es but maybe equal or slightly less than the 15mk2, so its value for dollar swayed me.
I’m looking to try to draw similar comparison lines here between the actually comparable 75 and 7-12-80 as it represents the first competitive option to the rupes for a mini polisher. I’d think this would be more welcome than the typical flex vs free spinning threads.
While we’re on the subject, anyone with experience with the zentool polishers? Significantly cheaper (their mini is ~$200) and sold exclusively by optimum, but not a lot of coverage out there.
