Be a novice at this, I apologize in advance if this has been answer numerous times before - I am going to clay my car using Griot's Speed Shine as the lube - I am then going to use my new XMT #1 with my new PC 7424 to remove some minor swirls - the question is: do I have to rewash the car (or do any other prep/cleaning work) to remove the Speed Shine or do I just put the XMT #1 on and buff away??? After I buff w/the XMT, I am going to put on AIO - same question: do I have to wash or anything else or just put on the AIO??? Thanks.

I go straight to polish after a clay figuring that the little bit of lube that wasn't wiped up is not that much more than some of the old layered wax that will be picked up.
I'd just put on the AIO. It will clean and protect.

Now, if you were going straight to a carnauba or sealant after XMT #1 then yes a wash or paintwork cleansing lotion.

I hope they're real "minor" swirls, otherwise better step up to #3, honestly, with a PC, I get LSP ready finishes with LC orange pad.

I agree with Junebug, however, I would use XMT 360.

Or you could use #2, followed by #1.
Sooo many choices!
