Not sure if anyone has done this but today I'm going to do this on the hood of my Durango.
I've already done a correction so i won't be able to compare correction results.
Just going to test shine and longevity of protection

Looking forward to the test Ryan....:props:

And I'll add that I did my dawn wash and griots paint prep.. Did a great job of stripping my several month old 845

As looks go...I'd say pretty equal.

IMO the poliseal seemed to work longer than the 360

15 days and not much water beading More sheeting than anything.
All I've done was regular washes with gold class and purposely did not use any quick detailers to aid in the longevity of either AIO's protection

wow, so VERY short life

It still has life to it. The water sheets of quite nicely though and the paint is still smooth.
I think the usual life span of most AIO's is about a month or so?
Wouldn't quote me on that though

No water beading? How did you apply the water? If you're running a garden hose at low pressure of course the water is going to sheet. Water has surface tension. In fact a lot of detailers dry the car with low pressure water using it's sheeting action.

If you spray little droplets on a flat horizontal surface the water should bead.

I understand drying with low pressure to create sheeting. I in fact use the same method when washing cars.
And as I stated in my op...it's beading but Not as much as when first applied 2 weeks ago...

how often is the durango driven? im assuming daily. personally i would much rather go after a product that will last longer than a month if possible. especially on a dd.

the results from those look great though, dont get me wrong.

It's a daily driver. I generally have a sealant topped with a Nuba but this was for experimental purposes only.

This time the Durango just had its mid winter Collinite 845 topping on it
So before my summer sealant application I decided to strip it down and do an experiment with the two

After 2 months i don't see either product outlasting the other. If so then it's a very unnoticeable difference.
I have done nothing but wash with gold class and use no QD or ONR washes to affect the longevity of either.
Still protecting pretty decent. Going to see if I can get another month
