Just curious if it would work or not. I ordered the AG detailer bag with the extras and of course one is XMT 360. Since I have Klasse and Pinnacle Souveran I really don't need the XMT 360 as a spray wax. Thus my question about using it as a quick detailer.

XMT is AIO and not a spray wax. How did you plan to spray a paste and use it as a quick detailer?

You'll probably be much more satisfied using a waterless wash prior to using a spray wax. I like how XMT 360 Spray Wax performs and I wouldn't use it as a detail spray to remove dust and small debris....

Any Wax whether solid, liquid or spray should only be applied to an already perfectly clean surface.

I may shock a few people but Meg's wash n wax anywhere is the perfect alternative to detail spray and spray waxes. I like it even better than Ultima. It's that good. You get it all with one product

XMT 360 spray wax is too thick to be an effective spray detailer. That, plus the fact that it needs to be buffed off makes it not ideal for that purpose. +1 to a waterless wash (like UWW+).

XMT is a great booster for Souveran after a wash though. You should give that a try :xyxthumbs:

XMT 360 is a great topper/booster for routine washes after a detail. OCW too, best spray waxes hands down IMO

Good question, always lots of confusion between spray waxes and spray detailers,

Spray detailer is for removing light dust, finger prints and smudges, some are also used as a clay lube.

Spray wax if for adding gloss, shine and protection to a finish that is already clean, like it was either washed or wiped clean with a spray detailer.

That said, you can do anything in this world that you like and you could use a spray on wax to wipe dust off your car. The specific factor is that most quality spray detailers are formulated to be high lubricity to protect the paint during wipe off and also provide cleaning.

Spray waxes are normally all about the adding gloss, shine and protection.

There are spray-on cleaner/waxes, these are typically the thing you see someone hawking in a gas station parking lot or at a carnival.

Nothing wrong with them either as long as you know what you're doing and what you're working on and what your goal is.

Good question...
