XMT 360 is here!

im confused...so what is the best pad combo or what is the best pad for this?

That will depend on the condition of the finish. As Justin and I both used a green edge pad and had great results. 360 is like a complete detailing process in one easy step. I will be using a white polishing and yellow cut edge pads this weekend

this is for the guys that have tested it ,correct me if im wrong. it would make sense to buy XMT 3 ,XMT 2 to use with an orange pad and get XMT 360 to use with a white pad to replace XMT1 and seal in one process? so if you bad swirls you could use the XMT3 then hit it with 360 to finish polish and seal. or if the swirls were moderate you would use XMT2 then finish with 360. or if you only had light marring just hit it with the 360.

so is the white pad that comes with it the pad to use for minor swirls and scratches?

Just got my XMT360, now which pad should I use for light swirls and scratches? White Polishing Pad or an Orange Light Cutting Pad?

try the white polishing pad 1st if you feel this just isn't cutting it then move upto to the orange pad,

Sorry if this is a silly question but I am still looking to buy my first set of compound/polish/wax to go with my PC. WOuld this be a better option for a beginner than Optimum Compound, Poorboy EX-P and Poorboys Natty Paste Wax Blue?

XMT 360 is basically a glaze, seal, and paint corrector all in one. So its pretty much like mixing XMT #1, XMT Glaze, and some kind of sealant.

So do I think it would be better for a beginner, yes. And all youll need to buy is 360 and Natty's. Unless youve got some more sever swirls then Id get some XMT #2 also.

If I wanted to top the XMT360 with Pinnacle Spray Wax can I do it right away or does the XMT360 need to cure since it has a sealant in it?

Right away is fine.. no need to let "cure" overnight.

Im thinking that the combo on my black car should be XMT360, Optimum Opti Seal and then some Pinnacle Spray Wax.....Any Comments?

What kinda look does "360" leave? Glossy, depth, reflection, etc?

Just got my 360 yesterday...I can't wait to use it this weekend! I am taking off work on Friday to do a full detail and I got a wash and wax on Sat...and hopefully I can get to my truck on Sat and Sun to test 360 on!

Finally had a chance to use 360 on my wife's blue 07 Honda Odyssey yesterday. When we purchased the vehicle at night, I didn't notice the severe water etching on the roof. When we took it back to the dealer to have them fix it, it came back with horrible swril marks and nothing done to the etching. Nice. After I complained the dealer told me that would have to send it to a body shop to have it wet sanded for three days. Huh? Well, after using my Cyclo for about an hour on the roof and almost two hours on the rest of the car I happy to say the paint is better than new. The best thing to me is that my 13 year old daughter was helping me and she kept calling me over to show the great results she was having with the 360. Priceless. Thank you Autogeek!:applause:
