Has anyone here recently tried XMT 360 and followed it up with Wolfgangs Deep Gloss Sealant. Also would you use Wolgang's Paintworks before the Deep Gloss coat.

I have used the XMT 360 but not with the Wolfgang layered on it. I would not use the WG paintworks because it is a paint cleaner and will remove the 360. So I would just layer the WG sealant over the 360.

Hey rwisejr !
Thanks for the advise. Using the XMT 360 to take out some light spider webbing. Thought the Wolfgang Paintworks was to make the Wolfgang Gloss Sealant bond better. How did you like the XMT 360 ? Did it do what you wanted ?

Yes it is an awesome product. It does a very good job at swirl removal but it is pad dependent. I like how it finishes out and it has protection so you don't have to top it if you don't want to.

Sounds like a sweet combo. I haven't tried it yet though.

Hey Rwiserjr !

What do you mean by pad dependent ? Excuse my lack of knowledge but I'm totally new at this. I'm trying to get all the advise I can so my first detail won't be a bad experience.

Its swirl removal capabilties are better with a more aggressive pad

Thanks for the info Rwiserjr. If you have any other pointers please feel free. Thanks again.

Can I ask another question, if you don't mind Rwiserjr. What pad did you use that gave you the best results. I just read that Pinnacle prefers you use a green pad. Did you use something stronger than that ?

Thanks Gary26

Green is the pad that is recommended for an all in one product but I have used the orange with good results. but if you have heavy swirls I would go with a straight polish ,Something in the menzerna line SIP,106FF. But The 360 does a great job for what it is.

That's great advise thank you. I just have some light spider webbing to correct. My car is new, it's a 2006 Cadillac Srx with White Diamond Paint. Dealer had already put ResistAll Sealant on it. But after seeing the cars on this site my car is nothing special, so I want to detail it. Thanks again for your help.

i used 360 and wgs on a black chevy 1500 and it turned out great.... only thing. you have to let the sealant cure on paint for 30-45 mins, buff off and then another atleast 12 hrs of curing before you do anything else. it's said that if the paint come in contact with moisture before 12 hrs it won't bond all the way. also after 12 hrs you can top the wgs with your favorite wax to give it even more shine!!!

A while back I tried XMT360 on my white van followed up by Liquid Souveran. I think a coat of Wolfgang DGPS over XMT360 followed by some Liquid Souveran would look very good on white. A while back on the forum I had ask about XMT360 cure times and the consenus seemed to be that none was required. I would wait at least 12 hours before applying anything over Wolfgang DGPS.
