i was wondering if you could layer wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant over xmt 360 and if anyone has tried it how were the results?

You would be putting a sealant over a wax. It should be the other way around.

While not ideal to apply a sealant over a product containing wax, I think it would work just fine.

Yesterday I layered DP Poli Coat over XMT 360 and it worked very well.

I am sure it would look "good"..but maybe Mike can confirm..I don't think the sealer would have the ideal "bond" it it is not on a metal surface..Just my opinion.

There are actually two products named XMT 360:
1. The AIO version which has a polymer sealant: XMT 360 corrects, cleans, and seals auto paint! XMT 360 is more than a cleaner wax, its a swirl remover, polish, and paint sealant in one.
2. The Spray Wax version: Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax, Carnauba spray wax, spray car wax, detailing wax

I have layered WGDGPS over the AIO version of XMT 360 and it works very well. So, if that is the version of XMT 360 that you are talking about, then yes, it is okay.

I don't really have any experience with the XMT 360 spray wax, but if that is the product you are talking about, then no, you shouldn't put a sealant over a wax.

I just did a jeep with XMT 360 and topped it with Blackfire wet diamond and it turned out great.

It will look nice for a bit, but the sealant will not bond to the paint.

I read that XMT 360 AIO has a polymer sealant in it not carnuba wax. If thats the case it should be fine

XMT 360 is one of my favorite product's for prepping the surface for LSP.

Your fine. I have used that combo a few times before. I have used XMT 360 under just about everything.

correct. According to the description it is in fact a polymer sealant. I have tipped it with DP, BFWD, and now CGV7 without issue.

Did you mean clean paint instead of metal?

Your right, I stand corrected. I don't know why I keep thinking it is the same as Dodo need for speed. I need to remember klasse is acrylic, dodo is wax and xmt is polymer sealant.

I use the wgdg spritz over 845. this can be used before or after wax .

Have you used need for speed? I have it but I haven't used it yet. How does it compare to XMT 360?

Not really a fan of any of the AIO's. I would rather use some 106FA and then wax. It only take a extra 45min. They all dust after use too. I always re-wash after polishing.

To answer your question LOL! I tried it on my wifes toyota and it leaft some marring, just lime lime prime did.
