Could i use XMT #3 Polish on my windshield to get it clean and free of waterspots and such?

I've never used it but that sounds harsh to me. KAIO (or maybe XMT360?) should do the trick.

I've used XMT360 on a windshield that had bad waterspots. Applied 360 by hand and the waterspots were quickly removed.

If the waterspots have been baked on for awhile, the only combo I've been able to use was Klasse AIO with #0000 steel wool which I could feel "grabbing" at the spots. I've tried polish and it didn't budge the waterspots.

Why not try using DP's Glass Restorer ??
Depends if they were baked on for awhile in the sun, DP Glass Restorer didn't budge spots on any of our vehicles except fresher ones, which was surprising considering it has a pretty gritty texture.
