XMT polishes?

I was about to order XMT 1-3 for my cars. I am a newb when it comes to the PC and watched the videos on here with XMT it seemed to work great. Well I asked a question elsewhere and was told XMT only hides the swirls and scratches rather then actually get rid of them? Does XMT contain fillers to just hide the swirls?

xmt takes them out. i use 1 - 4 on a regular basis. first thing i do is test a spot with #1 to see if i need to move up or stay with #1. some times you'll need to move up if an area is badly swirled or scratched. there are no short cuts on swirls or scratches. some times you'll need to go over an area 2 or 3 times. some scratches will not come out with a pc. what i did when i started was go to the local body shop and grab a wrecked hood put it on saw horses and figure out what i could do and shouldn't do. i tried quite a few things, even used sand paper on the hood then took out the scratches. wanted to make sure i wouldn't damage things and figure out how to use the pc.
