Has anyone tried the XMT products by pinnacle. If so,which products and how did they work for you. Are there any reviews. I haven't seen any but I haven't really got use to the forum yet. Thanks for any input

XMT is a nice line of polishes that moved my Megs DACP and Poorboys SSR twins to back shelve. I would not hesitate to use them, and found 3 and 1 to work great. I would also note the 360 and 180 (AIO and Carnauba) are nice offerings too.

I have used the XMT medium and ultra fine swirl removers with good results-good product for the money.

thanks for the quick reply, I just ordered the 1,2,3. Probably will order some more after I try these. I have tried the pad conditioner and the spray cleaner and I really like both of these products

I haven't tried their other products but the 360 is one of my favorite all-n-one products.

not like polishes... prefer menzerna. their glaze is great!
180 is a fantastic wax... especially on paints with flake
360 is a great all in one... use with orange lo pro or ccs pad

I've never used Menzerna, but have heard nothing but great things about it. I'm sure Menzerna is a great polish, but it cost's 4 times more than Pinnacle XMT

I purchased my PC, along with an arsenal of pads and Pinnacle XMT polish about a year and a half ago. I have been experimenting with it off and on since I got it. It took me a while to really figure out what the PC is capable of.

At first, I was unsucessfull at correcting paint defects such as scratches. I mean it looked better, but I could not polish out the scratches. I used the XMT #3 with a yellow pad, and still couldn't correct all the scratches.

I figured out that I had to use the #3/yellow pad combo, turn the speed up to at 5-6, and really press down on the mofo. Break down the polish, wipe with a MF towel, and then repeat.

Once I mastered correcting the paint on my car is when the XMT #1/white pad combo played a major role in burnishing/polishing to a fine luster. It took some practice, but I have become really good with my PC/XMT/LC Pad combo.

The XMT is very easy to work with, produces awesome results with the PC, doesn't gouge the paint, little or no dust, and basically achieves the goal in mind...and that is to polish/correct the paint...and it does it very well.

I asked Mike Phillips over at Meguires online why he doesn't recommend cutting pads with the PC. The first two respondants chastised me, then when Mike responded, he further chastised me. He basically stated that because I had been a member over there for two days, and that the members who chastised me were, I will use the word "STELLAR" members (Mike is the one that said it) it was ok for them respond the way that they did.

Over e-mail with Mike, I told him that I thought his behavior was very offensive to condone inappropriate behavior, and that the only persons that acted inappropriately, were the two "STELLAR" members as well as himself.

He then writes, "I have to forward this to the Super Mod." Later on, He writes "We have determined that you have acted wrong for being such a new member" or some $hit, I don't remember.

It's not about who is right, or wrong, it's a matter of Mike Phillips taking advantage of His Administrative powers to belittle somebody. That didn't set too well with me.

Anhoo, sorry for the rant.
