Yancy is a busy guy...

Nice, new toys! I'm curious what model the new HD camera is? I do live event recording, been shooting HD (and delivering on Blu-ray) with my pair of Sony NX5U's. They are great, but I always like to know what others are using.

My company Youtube- http://www.youtube.com/my_videos?feature=mhum

I will put up a list of the cameras, equipment and software that I use tomorrow when I get a little bit of time to do so. Max has me buried on some projects and need to finish them up. Glad to share the knowledge that I have with all you out there in the forum world.

Right on, thanks! Keep up the good work! :props:

If you care to look, here's a thread of mine that shows a bunch of stuff I semi-recently got. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/27944-what-i-ve-been-up-too.html

New additions since then-

Panasonic AW-HS50 Compact Live switcher, I'm in love...

AJA Hi-5 HD/SDI to HDMI

100' Belden 1505a HD/SDI cable

Microboards CopyWriter Pro 4-disc Blu-ray Duplicator

3- WD Caviar black 1TB 64 mb cashe internal HDD's

2- Lacie D2 quadra external HDD's (I now have 10TB of storage... it's still not enough)

2- Vizio 22" 1080p TV's for the road (smallest 1920x1080 monitors I could find AND gave a picture I like).

40" Dynex 1080p TV for the road (with 100' Belden and AJA Hi-5 to the 40" monitor in the lobby, it shows my work live and playback during intermission, with order forms and business cards next to it :D)

Apple Magic Trackpad. Love it! (great supplement to regular Apple mouse for editing, pinch to zoom, multi-touch gestures etc.)

Lots of new knowledge, a huge resource to me has been CreativeCOW.net or as I call it "The Autogeek of Pro Video". :props:

Looking for-

RAID-5 Array, 10TB+. For redundancy and speed, running backup's and managing media over multiple drives with various RAID level's (1 and 0) is a hassle.

Interested in-

AJA Ki Pro MINI, but the recording media is not large enough to be a viable option yet. I need at least 2hrs of recording to one card.

Many years of hacking away in front of the ever glowing screens! Love technology, anything new I want to know how it ticks. I was the type of person who would take apart things to see how they work and then be able to put them back together again and they still worked, LOL!

Despite coming up with left-over parts, amirite?

Or maybe I'm the only one that ever had that problem.

With the mac I connect into my mobile me account and transfer files via iDisk. Evernote, Trillian are also a few apps that I use on the iPhone, iPad and the mac.

Evernote is for sure :righton:

Your setup is reminding me of the setup I had at my last job (in the datacenter that houses AG's web servers -- or at least the one this forum is hosted on), but you've still got me beat!
