can u send me one Mike? or I can test out yours? lol. I always have to resist the urge to buy a new digital camera, I have a dig. rebel XT
 
Meguiar's supplied me with a Rebel when they first came out and I literally wore it out and after 2-3 years they upgraded me to the next version and I left it there pretty worn out too.

The rebel is a great camera and this one can take video!

id say i hate you but its just jealousy thats the kind of camera i want next.
Speaking of videos have you considered doing some of your write-ups with videos? being able to see technique in action gives a whole new dimension to learning. i benefitted greatly from watching the videos ag puts out with "blkyukon" demoing the 7424, actually one of the reasons i bought mine. But hey, if not ill keep reading and looking at before, during, and afters, your writ-ups are awesome none the less.
 
Wow the JVC reminds me of the Sony Pd-170 I used to use back in Junior College, good old film days. I see some form of wireless transmitter in the hot shoe :props: Mike you should have asked Max for a Canon 1D mark 3 :laughing:

Yancy and Meghan are both Professional Photographers and can make the Nikon D200 do anything they choose, I'm just a hack. I was struggling with it to get just normal in-focus shots, let along captures swirls and spending way too much time spinning my wheels so that's how the Canon came about.

I've been limping along with my iphone for a camera, it works okay for some things but not detailed before, after and process pictures.

I'm actually taking off to BestBuy for a repair or a replacement, I kind of fell on it the other day ago. It still works but it needs some attention. I used it to take the Canon photos on page 1 of this thread and used the Canon to take this picture,

Ummm, I think that is going to be a replacement. Surprised that it still works as I would of thought the touch screen aspect would no longer work.
 
Nikon and Fuji for me, as most of you know I came from a Photography career when joining Autogeek. Its like waxes, you find one you like and trust and you stick with it. Named my first dog Fuji, that is how much love I have for it.

I am with you I have a Nikon D200. Knowing that you are also a pro photographer as well as an autogeek makes this forum that much better.
