Yeah my order has arrive , but.........

This is my 3 time purchasing from AG, and it was great. I live in Canada, and i placed an order on Feb28, and today my stuff have arrive. It was weird when i received the package this morning, because the package smell great( It wasn`t normal). Then i have to pay the duties for this package and the post office charge me 50$, but i only purchase 350$ of goods. My last order was 500$ and the post office only charged my 30$. So I paid for it, and brought my package home. :dblthumb2:

When i opened the box, It was a mess .

A leaking bottle of Meguiars Nxt Car wash. That's why the package smell good.
Then a broken grill guard .

The package is fill with Nxt

And the 4 inch white CCS pad have became blue

Then i flip over the box and it was broken too.

Then i was thinking about the the custom charges me 50$, that why they charged me .

The charged me for helping me to clean up the mess?

So i phoned the custom , and they told me that the package is broken before they arrived the boarder.
At last, i want to give some comment to the packer 12. Don`t Push all the things in a small box, leave some space and fill with peanut. There is no peanut or paper to fill the gap in the box, and don`t put shape things in the corner of the box, it will break the box .:nomore:

So, what should i do now, call customer service?
 
Yes sir call customer service, they all are very helpful and friendly.

The Nxt has leak though the box , i have to clean up my car and my floor and carpet :mad:
 
That is just plain disappointing..

Unfortunately no matter how well or secure items are packaged they're no match for unscrupulous shipping personnel. :bat:

Autogeek is very good at correcting issues like this. I know it's of little consolation but you're not the first member that's had this unfortunate experience...
 
Some Post Office employees treat packages like crap. I know because I work at a CVS/Pharmacy, and we have a mailing center there. Not all, but the few employees that don't like working for Fedex/UPS/USPS don't treat packages with care (just toss them in the back of the truck). I'm sure if you tell AG customer service what happened, they'll work something out with you.
 
Call customer service tomorrow, it will be handled. I suspect the carrier is more at fault perhaps its soccer season ??
 
You got to remember, not only do postal employees handle the packages, so do airline personnel. If that was shipped through USPS, then it went through some airline system as well.

Even though it would be hard to blame Autogeek. However, they have the best customer service in just about any industry.

Autogeek will of course take care of you, but I understand how disappointing it is to open up a box of something you have been wating for only to find out it is damaged. Fortunately this is totally replaceable and can be resolved to restore your satisfaction.
 
Looks to me like a very poor packing job by #12 and some rough treatment are both to blame. Had a better job of packing been done it might not have been such a messy disaster. No doubt AG will take care of you but the point needs to be driven home that this could likely have been prevented.
 
AG will have no problem taking care of this. Their customer service is one of the best online. That why I don't buy from other sites.
 
Check and see if those rascals at customs have detailed the customsmobille. Maybe this is not the accident it has been made to look like? A staged shipping mishap? Seen it time and time again...

On a side note.I can count almost 30 free sample's from AG (Meaning I have placed equal amount,if not more orders) and I NEVER received a box/shipment that did NOT have the package filled with peanuts or paper,to protect the item's ordered.

It is weird man, the last two orders i receive has filled with a lot of peanuts. But this time, there is none. Maybe there are a lot customers complain about the annoying peanuts. But i didn`t make any complain about it. I think the peanuts do a great job to protect the items.:dblthumb2:

Maybe packer# 12 was in a hurry. People with common sense will not put sharp things in the corner of the box. Packer 12 has put the grill guard in the left side of the box, and the grill guard bottom(the sharp part) has cut a hole though the box. Moreover, the Nxt car wash bottle has been cut a small hole in the bottom. So the soap has leak out from the box. Therefore the custom charged me 50$ for cleaning and taping the box but not for duties.

This did enter my mind as well.

My initial observation was not only the damage but the absence of packing materials. :dunno:
 
wow. that is dissapointing! i would have freaked. anything i have ordered from AG arrived in perfect condition. i cant point the finger, but i would tend to believe the package was miss handled and the absence of packing peanuts. call AG. i am sure they will take care of this. also the missing peanuts is strange. any package i have received was packed full of them.
