Yes, I bought a KIA

I had 2004 Saab 9-3 with a GM Ecotec (B207R) 2.0T. Dropped a cylinder with 35,000 miles on the car. I split the cost of a rebuild with GM and had the dealer throw in some upgrades I purchased. My wife’s brand new 2012 Dodge Journey had it’s engine replaced with 300 miles on it. Thing was leaking oil from the rear main seal. One of the first Pentastar 3.6s and Chrysler decided to give me whole new engine. They even sent engineers from Auburn Hills to help at the dealer. In my experience, nothing is bullet proof.

Sorry about your bad luck. I have never had an engine failure and know nobody that has. In any case, I was not talking about isolated engine failures. I was talking about enough engine failures that Kia was forced to issue a recall. Anyway, your's is an entirely different engine so you should not be affected. Good luck with the beautiful car.

Wow those Stingers are cooking down the track. I have yet to see one in the wild.

I get to see Derek's Stinger in person this Saturday!

The KIA is bigger than what "used to be" mid sized but doesn't move like a big car! Go test drive one and tell me your not impressed and I'll call you a liar or in denial

This car hauls ass =======

And this is just the first generation of the car. Just wait and see what comes in the future.

Though the hp and torque numbers are close to the GDI V-6 in my GC I'd love to have this twin turbo in it!

There is nothing lacking in the refinement department for the drivetrain! Is there some cheap plastics, yeah, where you don't touch them so really cares, it's all about the drive and how the car looks, has both in spades and i can't wait to see this cars future as well as what KIA has planned for the rest of their lineup, the upcoming Forte' comes to mind, great looks!

I drove a stinger GT1 with a Lap3 tune and K&N intake, that thing was a rocket, close close to my 15 Mustang GT with a Lund tune, headers, cat back, and intake. You get a lot of car for the $$

At the track, with each car having those mods, I'd bet on the Stinger to win that race

I discovered a gentleman from the far southern end of the neighborhood I live in has a black AWD Stinger GT. We get home about the same time every weekday so I’m going to have to find a way to introduce myself and get a car conversation started.

...and tell him about our site too

Does it have the red interior by chance?

At the NYIAS yesterday I was sitting in a stinger gt and for the life of me could not adjust the seat and wheel to anything comfortable. I came to the conclusion that I simply do not fit in the stinger. I find it hard to believe since I am 5’11”. Once I set the seat distance I couldn’t have the steering wheel far enough away to be comfortable. What size are you, I assume you don’t have the same issue.

Other than that it’s a pretty sweet ride.
