Yet another "Best of Show" win for Tommy's 1970 Cuda!

Here's the e-mail Tommy sent me...

Took Best of Show Sunday at the Jupiter Ale House car show and $1000.00 dollar prize!

Chalk another one up for the Autogeek show cars!

Here's is 1970 Cuda on display, I'm trying to get a picture of the award.

Re: Yet another First Place Win for Tommy's 1970 Cuda!

Congrats Tommy! I was at that car show I believe 6 months ago and there were plenty of cool cars! (Not sure if it was the same show but it was at the Jupiter Ale House). I looked through my photos and found some pictures from the show!

Chin chin! That's an awesome feeling for sure. That's what you get from a great teacher Mike Philips and his students. That's awesome.

Thanks guys and thank you Mike. With Mikes help and the gang at Autogeek I have the know how to . Wet sand , polish , wax and paint correct anything ! Lots of guys try to tell me how to do this and how to do that . I just smile and walk away .

Mike, if you guys keep cranking out show car results you guys are going to have a monopoly on the awards.

Way to go Tommy. More Autogeek gear is in order now.

Congrats on the Best of Show. Car looks great. When was it last repainted (I trust you aren't going to say that's the original factory paint)?

What are the 2 circular/cylinder things in the lower right of the engine bay, next to the radiator?

The car was painted 7 years ago . Check out the thread Mike posted . Someone got stupid with a rotary buffer . The car was coverd ! And I mean coverd with swirls . Front to back . Mike and the gang at Autogeek did a number on this car . The paint is fully corrected and its deep and looks like a wet orange ! To the front right of the engine bay are custom gauges . Temp, alt, oil . Thanks . Tommy

Just to drive the point home, here are the before pictures I took showing exactly what the car looked like when it arrived to Autogeek's Show Car Garage...

Swirl City - Every square inch of paint was filled with holograms from a rotary buffer
Now I move around to the other side of the car and wait for the sun to poke its head out from the clouds and here's what it really looks like...
