Ok so let me start out by saying these are two great products from DoDo. I feel like every product I've ever tried that they put out has lead to great success, and neither one of these mitts are a let down. Ok so initial feel, they both feel equally soft, but the Wookie hairs are bit more clumped and thick. The Yeti's hairs feel very thin and there are soooo many of them its insane. The glove part itself is of higher quality on the Wookie, as it doesn't allow water to seep in, and the knitting is nicer too. The Yeti, during the wash felt great. Both glide along the paint with 0 effort. What I did notice though is the Yeti foamed up the soap on the paintwork, while the Wookie holds so much water the soap and water just fall off. I'm not sure which of those traits I like more at the moment, but neither mar my paint so its no big deal. The Yeti is significantly smaller and holds a smaller amount of water, but compared to my Microfiber Mitt, and my old Uni Mitt they both hold oceans. I prefer the Yeti's size more, but I like the Wookie's hairs more. If I had to chose only one to own it would be the Wookie, but only by a small margin. The $5 savings is nice on the Yeti and that can easily be a reason to buy it, as you're not going to see much of a difference between the two.

Great review, I really liked the pictures, thanks for sharing! I haven't tried a Yetti yet(haha Yetti yet)lol, but I think I'll get one soon to try out. I have a Wookie and love it. I still crack up every time I look at it. I've always used GS-50's before, but the Wookie is WOW. However their care is somewhat of a commitment, as they need brushed, and often I have to stop it from picking on the other pets j/k. Heres a pic of my Wookie on top of a GS-50 (quality sheepskin mitt, which is quite thick in its self).

Thanks for the great review! Like Tad said, love the pictures! I don't have either but they do both call to me on occasion.

I love my wookies fist, and after hearing what you have to say about the new yeti mitt it makes me want to try it.

Wow, was your Wookie new there. Mine needs a good brushing lol. In the pictures above it was at the very last step of the drying process.

Thank you, and it was no problem. I seriously suggest you try one of them out, I promise you won't regret it.

Do it. Also DoDo released a short haired Wookie which I was lucky enough to get my hands on. I hope AutoGeek gets it soon, as I feel it may be the perfect wash mitt. I'm gonna give it a try Wednesday. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post pictures of it so I'll hold out.

Another note on the Yeti. It seems like it dries faster than my Wookie does. Typically my Wookie takes 3-4 days to air dry, but the Yeti seems like it may be quicker. I'll keep you all posted, but I feel like this is due to the thinner hairs. If it does thats a definite plus in my mind.

Yes, it was new when I took that picture, but yes I brush it with a dog brush after every use:dblthumb2:

I use my moms brush :D
dont tell...

Just to keep everyone updated, the Yeti fist will definitely be dry by tomorrow, where as the Wookie can sometimes take 3-4 to dry for men....That definitely would be something to consider.

I'd love to try one but the last 2 times I ordered, AG was out of stock?????
When will you be getting more AG? ( Wookie)
