Nick, can you provide us a picture of the wheels after they've been cleaned so we can see how well it cleaned?
 
Great product for sure..... Optimum has and is producing an awesome line of products. I've slowly migrated their direction by using Hyper Compound, Hyper Polish, Ferrex, OCP, etc - great line for sure.

Even on repainted surfaces? I know that Iron-X says not to use it on repainted surfaces.

If it's a high-quality repaint, then it should be fine. If you're not sure, test a small, inconspicuous panel first.
