You know you got the detail bug bad when...

Oh no not the MF's! Hope they are cheapos! lol Those quality plush MF's probably really hold the poo though! :nomore:
Yes they do...it's really impressive, the wife won't let me wash them inthe washing machine though, can't imagine why....:joking:

Well now I'm glad I'm not alone! I have veered off the road looking at how bad other vehicles looked, even got so frustrated with my neighbors car that I wash, clayed and waxed it for him yesterday. Once the DA comes in for Father's day I have another neighbor willing to let me practice on his very very very neglected 01 expedition.

This morning I used my 3" griots mini polisher to put on deodorant and buffed and polished parts I cant mention..................................

When I washed the dog with ONR, gave my daughter a bottle of M105 for her birthday and told the wife to slap on a couple of coats of CG EZ Creme Glaze before a night out on the town.
Now my dog and family hate me, but at least I have enough material for that country & western song I've been meaning to write.

HAHAHA!!!
:applause::laughing:

When I was veering off in the wrong lane on the interstate cause I was looking at what needed to get done to passing vehicles.

I do the same thing all the time. LOL

Yeah but did you use an LSP? Which one? I hear Autoglym HD will bead on skin. . .

:laughing::laughing: I thought I was the only one!!!!!!!!!!:D

.....When you don't know what else to do to your ride and you polish and seal the wiper arms.

......When you happen look at the acrylic tub in your guest bathroom and run to the garage to get the AIO and glaze, happy you found a new detailing project :buffing:!!

Great thread!! ROFL!

Best,

Jose

When you almost drive off the on-ramp while admiring how well you got rid of the ghost lines from removing your pinstripes...

When you get into a fender bender and offer to buff out the other car... for cash... instead of filing a claim... (paint transfer on lower door panel)

When you turn down a spring break trip because you notice some new swirls that are way more important...

I'm not sure if any of this makes me feel better or not. I see that I'm not alone but I fear an epedemic. I'll check for one of those pod people grins tomorrow.

Today, one of our crime scene specialists announced a new SUV. I sat down and made her a lsit of "must haves". When I realized what i was doing, I broke down in tears...

oh my god....I am so glad I am not the only one! I find myself doing this A LOT. Hell none of my friends go to car shows with me anymore because I look at these "show cars" and wonder if Ray Charles did detailing.

Lol, that's sooo bad, I hope Ray Charles doesn't see that...

I walk through the parking lot at work to see if anyone is getting it right. Usually find more of the opposite. Yesterday, two nice black cars with terrible rotary trails. Wonder how much they paid for that work?

When you are brushing your teeth in the same pattern as your polishing panel passes. Then think if I use a hard bristle then follow with a soft brush will they come out whiter and shinier.

If you haven't you probably will try it tomorrow if your reading this.

How do you prime your toothbrush?

The first thing I do almost every-time I enter the house after being away for a while or waking up and going downstairs is blow the dust off my garaged car with a cordless leaf blower. That's pretty bad.

Another thing is ordering new products to try, and then ordering MORE new products before you had a chance to even crack open the first batch.

It's not even winter yet and I'm ordering LSPs I don't plan on using until next spring or summer.

How do you apply the "polish": X-pattern? Couple of dots?
