This is how liberty dies. With thunderous applause...

Someone sent me this link and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

It had only 28 views... I haven't seen the media report on anything about the power grab and destruction of our constitution...

There it is for all to see our top military brass telling congress that they no longer are the ones with the power to declare war... Rather it will be Obama, UN, and the military that decide... He tries to mix it up a bit but let's be honest...

Obama didn't get us into two undeclared wars but was left to clean up the mess. Now the GOP presidential candidates can't wait to get us into yet another war with Iran and McCain wants us to get involved with Seria. They talk like its a game. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail. We have not fought a declared war since WWII so lets not pretend this is a new situation. It's old news unfortunately. Politicians get us into and run wars not generals. Everything is political. Everything.
 
Forget about democrats and republicans man! They have Americans fighting each other in two groups while they destroy our constitution. Democrats vs republicans and v/v is the oldest trick in the book. We are all just people!

Btw: your wrong, Bush did get permission from congress. This was not to start a dem vs repub thread. I hate that nonsense. This is the Panetta saying the congress will not decide but rather Panetta will let congress know. If that's normal like you say it's news to me...
 
The essential problem in the US is that Anglo-americans are not having any power in politics, banking or military. Once that's sorted out you guys will be fine.
 
The low view count was what shocked me the most and the only reason i posted this. I guess I'm crazy that something seems wrong here. Nobody cares about the constitution? Im not actually surprised which was why I added the line from star wars about liberty bla bla bla... Oh well, nothing to see here... Carry on :shrug: :laughing:

That's not exactly true to the facts ... he had 90 days to get congressional approval; however he went to war before he had gotten that approval.
 
Thanks Bill! When I saw this video I thought I would love to hear Bills analysis of this!

Dems and repubs aside, doesn't matter who's the pres... That's odd to me.

My mind is made up that the constitution should be followed, yes.

In my opinion this is like I said - political grandstanding. I know that I am a just a dumd middle aged former truck driver, spent countless hours listening to rhetoric on the sesame channel, but I know that there's got to be some deep doo-doo for any American action in Syria-the Russians WOULD NOT stand for that. Period. 10-04?
 
I'm sure there's grandstanding. It wasn't really about Syria specifically that worried me. Just the belief that it's the UN that should decide when our military "takes action" rather than our own government. Call me crazy.

Sometimes you got to listen to the words coming from both sides of the microphone-similar to the way you have to decipher a CG description.:laughing:
 
Not a fan of politics or media for that matter - with that said, I love to play chess.... so do these politicians and handful of people that actually run the world (bankers really) - they are 5 moves ahead of the public every time if not more IMO - This is why I never watch tv (we don't even have basic tv in our house) it is mainly lies. No real reason to fret IMO until time to fight - pieces will fall where they choose them to fall.
