Mike, what products did you use if you don't mind me asking.
That paint is wet sand like smooth.
Per your request.
Wash: Two Bucket Method, Merino Wool Wash Mitt & Iron-X Snow soap.
Decon: Nanoskin towel (Fine) with Optimum No Rinse (ONR) for clay lube.
Inspection: Visual & all paint surfaces were measured prior to correction.
Compound: Rupes 21 MKI w/5" BP, 5" Megs mf discs, Megs M101 & D300.
Polish: Rupes 15 MKI, Megs microfiber finishing discs and Carpro Essence.
Small Areas: Griots 6" polisher, 3" Backing plate & 3" Meguiars mf discs.
Wheels: Reload on wheels. Four Star Ultimate Tire Protectant Gel on tires.
LSP: Coated with Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection on all paint surfaces.

No, I did not wetsand. This is Lexus Obsidian (Obscene) Black paint.
It's a very finicky paint to correct & polish & have it look crystal clear.
Every inch of the vehicle was covered in tons of swirls and holograms.
It looked like the prior "detailer" added lots of holograms to the swirls!
I really could not believe how bad/trashed it was when it came in.
The finished product even AMAZED me! It looked like a black mirror!
I always expect a few rock chips and deep scratches. There were none.
It came out better the showroom new. It looked almost totally flawless.
NOTE: The outside pictures were taken before the sides were polished.
