This Mercedes came from Alaska, and how the paint wasn’t thrashed, really baffled me. It was the first car I detailed with a machine (Porter Cable DA) earlier this year. I treaded lightly, but the finish on this car had me fooled that detailing was easy!

I used a few different pads and Turtle Wax Hybrid ceramic polish and coating.
This is what got me obsessed with auto detailing...

Lots of orange peel on the lower panels.


And the first several cars I did after were also black, so there was nowhere to run when it came to the final result.

That picture is kinda like the first Predator movie with Arnold..... something seems off, you just can't see what it is. (Your car being the Predator in the jungle :laughing: )

I like this one of my wife’s flex after fk1000P. Tapatalk reduces the size so it’s not a clear picture, but it is on my phone.

My wife's 2012 Civic hasn't been washed in a year. She normally pays a guy to do a wash and seal but I got myself back into detailing this year. Full decontamination, polish (Angel Wax Redemption), and ceramic coating. Considering the year and lack of paint maintenance it came out well.
