Your favorite hand applicator?

Of course I have a box full of the yellow foam applicators. They are inexpensive and seem to do a good job but for some reason I become "butter fingers" and can't hold onto them and end up using a few after I drop a couple.. They also can feel "grabby" on the paint.

I also have the red LC foam applicators and although they are nicer than the "regular" old yellow app's they seem to absorb a lot of product and can be hard to use with smaller tubs of wax.

I have never really developed a liking for the microfiber applicators.

Here lately I'm becoming a fan of using the DA and a blue pad to apply waxes and sealants.

What do you guys like using?

If I'm not using the Griot's 6 inch Random Orbital (dual action) Polisher, I like to grab Wolfgang's Polishing Pal. Although it is larger than the yellow pads.

For hand applicators I like the yellow foam ones, and the one that comes with UTTG+. But I rarely use hand applicators anymore.

I have always wanted to try the Polishing Pal....

I like those too, especially the Americana one for wax, but they are rather $$$.

My favorite applicator for paste waxes is the Dodo Juice Supernatural Finger Mitt - virtually no chance of dropping it while waxing, and it works even with those tiny sample pots. It is, however, rather expensive - they've released a released a similar applicator in their Basic of Bling range which should be less expensive, but AG is not yet stocking that. Another option I've been considering are the Gold Wax Finger Pockets, just don't know how soft they are.

I've also recently bought a Meguiars S3HP Professional Hand Pad, which is similar to the Polishin Pal - I'm thinking of using this with 4-inch pads for wax application.

auto glym hand applicator. unbelievable and fast. sometimes found at wal mart in the auto accessories section. red or blue both are simply amazing.

I haven't tried the polishing pal, but I have looked at it. I wish you could buy the 3.5" pads individually instead of in the 4 pack. All I would want are the red app pads.

I'll keep an eye out for the auto glym pads.

subscribed. also looking for something better. i applied DG family with the yellow applicator pads and also have a hard time not dropping it ont he vertical panels. and the finger cramps! the dodo applicator looks interesting.
