I would like to know what products that ordinary people wouldn't normally use, that you guys love. Such as Iron X, Opti-coat, etc.
Anyway, one of my favorites is Meguiars APC+ :xyxthumbs:

Meguair's APC+ is one of mine. ONR, waterless washes, steam cleaner, and paint coatings are some.

APC+ is a wonder product lol My fridge had so much caked on dirt on the handles and my father tried everything to clean it, then I walk in and BAM! They're clean! lol Anyway I think it's perfect for vinyl.

But you say a steam cleaner? How is your experience with that? And are waterless washes safe for soft clears?

I don't see your average car guy using a steam cleaner, so that's why I mentioned it. I love my steamer! Works wonders on stains, well worth the money.

Waterless washes are safe as long as you are careful. I only use them when my car is literally clean. But has some extremely light dust on it. So say you wash you car, drive to the car show and there will probably be dust on it. A way I like to judge if its too dirty is to test spot a panel with a waterless wash and MF towel. It the towel is significantly dirty after a couple swipes, your car is too dirty for a waterless wash.

Another use I like them for is if a customer's car sits inside my garage over night and accumulates some light dust. Simply use a WW.

A tool I just got and is awesome is the metro vac master blaster. I don't think I'll ever have to towel dry my car again.....or my dog. :xyxthumbs:

the mb is great, i still use it, but I love my cr spotless .

I could not imagine life without the Metro Master Blaster :xyxthumbs:

I've had the cr spotless in my shopping cart many times but couldn't pull the trigger. I read somewhere here that you have to take the resin out after you use it. Is that true or is the system really easy to use?

all I found is to remove the cartridge from the canister and let it dry out if not using for over a month or so . I thought I read somewhere to dump out the resin for longer no use periods but I can't find it again . I'm not sure if pulling the cartridge out can/will completely dry out the resin . for my winter storage here in Wisconsin I plan to dump out the resin into a container . btw I have the single 20" canister and fairly soft water 112ppm tds , if I run my ro water 3ppm .

Thanks for the reply. I may just have to put the system back in my shopping cart again....oh man my wife's gonna kill me. :argue:

I also thought of another awesome product that only us geeks use and that's the Wookie fist wash mitt. I don't know of any ordinary people who wash their cars with a small animal.
