your favorite QD

Optimum Instant Detailer, because it's easy to use, looks great, and is very slick. I've also noticed that after I use it, rain just beads and runs right off my windshield. Also, at 3:1 it is more cost effective than most

ONR QD. For me the purpose of a QD is to remove light dust and fingerprints so cleaning ability is much more important than shine and slickness.

I have been happy with FK 425, looks like I may need to try Dodo Red Mist

I use alot of Ultima's Waterless Wash as a QD. Fav non AG QDs would be Prima Slick and CG's Clearseal.

Red Mist I use as a booster and it is very nice...a little goes along way.

DP and Pinnacle Crystal Mist are two of my favorites. Ultima is also awesome, especially when a bit dusty! I also have to mention Souveran spray wax for when the paint is totally clean.

My favorite QD when it comes to surface prep is Meguiars Final Inspection (M34).

For dark cars when a QD is needed that offers a bit of protection then Pinnacle Crystal Mist is my favorite. Excellent gloss.

And like Dr Oldz mentioned, when the paint is clean, Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray wax is excellent

I've been using Adams detail spray for several years and find it to be one of the best out there. I just used the DP product and feel it's every bit as good but Adams is right there at the top of the list. It's a great product and is well deserving a mention here!!

I'll echo what Bobby said. I use diluted DP NR and Adams. Adams definitely gets the edge for slickness and shine. DP NR cleans better - no surprise there. You can really see the diff on my wife's black Lexus. I'll have to try the DP QD. I'm thinking I switch process to a quick clean up with DP NR followed by a dedicated QD for in between full wash and wax.

I have several I like: Adams, Megs 34, FK 425 are my present faves. Also in my bag:
Surf City Hot Rod Detailer (similar to Adams)
Megs UQD ( I find it hard to use)
Megs QD (the red bottle - available anywhere, and works)

Not a QD, but I LOVE Lucas Slick Mist Spray Wax. Don't know why this doesn't get more love.

Thread revival. It would be interesting to see what pro 4x's (aka pa detailer) favorite is now after 2 years.

Sonax Brilliant Shine is very good. Its sold as a QD, but some claim durability of a regular wax. The beading is just insane. Its a but thick, and really is unique.

Dodo's Tropical Mist is sold as a "protection detailer", that's a very good one to add some protection.

FK425, Prima Slike, Optimum Instant Detailer, and PB's Spray and Gloss all are top notch as well.

Another vote for Adam's DS. I do want to try FK425 & plan to in the near future
