There's some great compounds these days. When I first started it was either m105 or fg400 as the main options. After narrowing it down over the years I have found what I like to work with.
M100- affordable, can cut well and finish out LSP ready. Dust a lot
M101-expensive but cuts better than m100. Dust a lot
FG400- can cut, finish out well, not that much dust.
GG Fast Correcting Cream- affordable, can cut heavy defects, finish LSP ready & low dust
Schnoll 3xxl-Still new to this compound but like it. Expensive but can cut heavy defects. Dust
I tend to use Fast Correcting or FG400 for the dust factor.
