Your Personal Road Trip Kit

Dear ShinyRex

Here is mine

QD
Bug Squash
Spray Wax
Window Cleaner
APC 10:1
Carpet Cleaner

2 Micro fibers, an interior towel and a ww window towel

That's a compact, yet complete kit. Thanks for sharing!

That is an excellent little kit. Where did you get the bottles?

USPlastic.com They are the 4oz natual cosmo bottles Product: 70296 .31$ ea and
the spray head 180614 about .34$ so less than 75 cents each and there is no minimum order. I buy a lot of different bottles and types and usually spend less than 20 bucks. They also have the hdpe dispensing bottles that I put my DP waterless concentrate and ONR in.

I leave my kit in the car 24/7 but I live in L.A. so the tepmperature doesn't change too much. I also have velcro on the bottom so when my trunk is empty the kit doesn't slide around.

used to be wiskey and cocaine, now its cornbread and ice tea

I just bring a liter of UWW+ premixed, a spray bottle, and around five to seven MFs. I also bring about 3 ounces of rinseless concentrate, but I've never used it - I don't do much with the car when on holiday, other than remove bird poo, sap and bugs, and I'd rather leave the car dirty than do a half-assed job while on the road. Besides, my wife would kill me if I washed the car while we're on a vacation :)

I keep Sprayway and Ultima Water Wash in the car along with some microfibers.

Always some bug eraser and a couple of Microfiber towels. Best to always have some bug eraser arouns to take off any bugs before they turn into etchings. Takes alot of work to get them out if you leave there. Also, some rinseless wash could come in handy sometimes.

Dear Michael & Mark

Thanks for responding.

Mark, that seems a little heavy on product to my inexperienced eyes. By the time you add microfibers to that kit, it seems that your kit would be a little large.

They are only 6 OZ bottles except wash is 16OZ:Picture:

Smart idea using the Velcro. I would have never thought off that.

It's tips like that that cause my internet forum addiction.

Likeminded people who've been there, done that, and have both the tattoos and T-shirts to prove it.

I let her check into the hotel while I wipe the car down. I use the "Dead bugs will eat my paint" excuse

My kit's about the same. A can of Sprayway, since it's about the most effective on bug guts and a small spray bottle of Opti-Clean, since it's good inside and out. A bunch of mf towels and a small patty of clay in a ziplock baggie for the stubborn bugs. Mine's packed in a child's backpack that I picked up at a dollar store.
